 WWO (WhuddleWorld Original:  2004-2007)

  • Created by the original development team (Elders Brogen/Jim, Codus/Michael, Kaitler/Katie, Lyrael/Dee, and Sarukie/Will)
  • Described as a community of imagination for kids of all ages, built with zero advertising dollars and driven purely by word-of-mouth
  • Grew an impressive audience of roughly 60,000 to 70,000 users who stayed engaged for long stretches at a time, building a deeply supportive fanbase
  • Offered rich gaming and social content, including dressing up Whuddletars, shopping for Whuddlewear, sharing achievements and collections in a Whuddle Omnibus, going on quests, attending events, and writing for The WhuddleWorld Chronicles
  • Sadly taken offline in 2007 due to financial issues

OWW  (Other WhuddleWorld:  Est. 2010 - 2013 or 2014)

  • Asset possession was taken over by several WhuddleWorld, Inc. investors in 2008 and re-launched later, entirely without the original team's involvement.
  • They hired their own independent team to get the site running, including a very talented and capable programmer, Chuck Taylor (Chief Go-Getter of CyberHoot), whom we've recently had the pleasure of getting to know.
  • They also brought on some very talented pixel artists, some of whose work can still be found online.  (Also worth noting, some of the OWW artists had also worked on WWO under Katie)

WWR (WhuddleWorld Revisited:  2026 to ??)

  • Four of the five original WWO members reconnected around late May / early June 2026, along with Elder Ela (Angie), to casually discuss creating a legacy project.
  • Discussions and brainstorming are ongoing, with fans and newcomers alike invited to help plan what comes next for WWR or if anything does come next..
